| Solution: | As a subcontractor to HumRRO, JPS developed a prototype assessment simulation of the Patriot Missile System Enhanced Operator and Maintainer. JPS conducted job analysis workshops, developed a test blueprint, designed and developed the prototype simulation and conducted a pilot test.
The simulation covers the steps a Solider should take to troubleshoot a fault reported on their radar display. The simulation displays a series of photo-realistic images of the job and allows the user, by pointing and clicking, to navigate around equipment and vehicles. Soldiers receive communications from virtual team members using animated buttons and switches. The simulation records the number of steps Soldiers take to achieve the goals of the simulation and errors made. |
