| JPS has completed a number of projects for a chemical plant in Singapore to improve hiring, training, and performance management of facility personnel.
As part of the organizational audit of hiring and training, JPS evaluated the company's policies, guidelines, training materials, and strategies designed to ensure the competency of the operator work force. JPS conducted the analysis using a combination of interviews, focus groups, reviews of records, job observation, and a job analysis survey.
As a result of the audit, JPS identified several steps that the plant could take to improve the hiring and training processes. With the support of the plant manager, JPS successfully installed a new hiring process. JPS also helped the facility stand-up a new training function and worked with the new trainers to produce high quality training.
